Wendi Steinman

Wendi was introduced to a variety of art forms very early in life by her mother, who was an art instructor. In high school, Wendi focused her studies around art and won many scholastic competitions, showcasing some of her creations in the school’s collection, and ultimately selling some of her work to private collectors. Wendi draws much of her inspiration from the works of Peter Marx, Henri Matisse, Paul Gauguin, Manel Anoro, and Raoul and Jean Dufy. Their well-known and admired styles encourage Wendi to fine-tune her own eye for color and to embrace her personal freedom in painting. Wendi captures the beauty and serenity of nature in her paintings. Wendi hails from Laguna Beach, California, where she has been active in the art community for many years. She has shown her work at the Sawdust Festival, participated in a 2006 juried art show at Irvine Valley College, and her beautiful watercolors can be enjoyed in the corporate collection at Saddle Back College.
